When we talk about the gastronomic heritage of the South-West, one thinks of many specialties but very rarely of the tourtière. The tourtière is a sweet cake made from cooked apples flavored with plum brandy and rum, covered with puff pastry petals. Sophie, originally from the region, after observing her husband's great grandmother making tourtières, quickly asked the old lady to tell her the secrets of the tourtière, in order to to continue this culinary tradition. And we can say it's a great success! Her tourtières are perfectly fragrant and crispy ... a treat for the eyes and taste buds.
