Listed Historical Monument, Saint-Avit medieval hamlet, with its ochre and rosy colors, is a real pleasure for your viewing. A walk in the only street of the hamlet allows you to discover remains of a rich past: Middle-Age boutiques' stalls, Renaissance mullion/transom windows and a Roman church.
Set in his native hamlet, Bernard Palissy Museum presents the life and work of the Renaissance scholar. Exhibition on a different theme each year. A surprising discovery in this medieval hamlet in ocher and pink in the middle where you can stroll in search of traces of a rich past.
